The role

We’re looking for a People Operations Associate to help run the daily processes that support our team throughout the employee lifecycle. You’ll assist with onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, employee records, recruiting operations, and other People programs, helping make sure these processes are organized, accurate, and thoughtfully executed.

You’ll report to our Chief of Staff and work closely with employees, managers, and the founding team. This is a hands-on role for someone early in their People Operations career who is excited to build broad experience and take on new responsibilities as the company grows.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, systems, benefits, and cross-functional logistics

  • Maintain accurate employee records and keep our People systems up to date

  • Support benefits administration, payroll changes, and other recurring People processes

  • Support recruiting operations such as candidate communication and background checks

  • Help employees and managers navigate People policies, programs, and routine questions

  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives, and other company-wide People programs

  • Maintain People Operations calendars, documentation, and process guides

  • Help improve existing processes as the company grows

What we’re looking for

  • 2–3 years of experience in People Operations, HR coordination, recruiting operations, or a related role

  • Experience supporting employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, benefits, payroll, and offboarding

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, especially when handling sensitive employee information

  • A proactive and resourceful approach to solving problems

  • Comfort managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growing company

  • Ability to work from our NYC office on the schedule required for this role
